Poor website. The match centre is a mess but so is the whole site, just so clustered. And for over a year now they haven't fixed in the stats section the clearances. Check it and everyone has apparently had zero clearances.

Along with the site being poorly designed, the HTML version actually updated with new data more frequently. At one point it took over five minutes to retrieve new data for today's game while the HTML version always updated with new data every 30 seconds.

Actually, the current site is HTML. It's just complex HTML, using (I assume) Ajax.

a) Wouldn't get there at all, or
b) Be automatically re-routed to the help desk archive logs in Bangalore.

Just checking the full-time stats for the Geelong game, apparently not one player had a single stat in the whole game.

When is the Telstra contract up? Has Demetriou been asked on a radio or tv interview why the AFL accepts what is the single worst website in the sporting world? I struggle to think of another sport where the official website is not one that I would recommend to people wanting information on the sport.

Gave up trying to get live scores here in Dubai today (being a Port supporter that may not have been such a bad thing!!).
AFL site - just wouldn't load properly, scores stuck on the 1/4 time score, links to the radio wouldn't work.

It is a disgrace...
The best website by far was livescores.afl.com.au but over the weekend they redicrected it to the Match Centre........ such a terrible page it is !
Majority of people who just want stats dont want to have to go through all the flash loaded rubbish it has. Not to mention the fact you now have to bypass chat boxes and game diagrams.

Bring page the live HTML scores at livescores.afl.com.au !!
