Currently I'm working in a dive of a shop whos air con has broken down.
after two months of no action the owners have said they refuse to fix it.
i live in brisbane its now really hot, its humid and ist sticky o work in the shop.
What kind of laws are in place about air cons in shops.They actually stock food producst in it that require a tmep of between 18degrees and 25.
Are they breaking the law by not fixing the air con and more importantly ar e they putting the health of somebody like me in jeopardy I've come home sick some days from the intense heat.I've also sweated over paperwork while I've been in the shop.
What kind of action can be taken against them and what are my rights
Any help appreciated.
