Makes a beeline to Harvey after the game is done to gloat and carry on. Barrett reports a rift between Rockliff and teammates, so what does he do? Again uses twitter -not to clear things up- but to start a fight with Barrett! Even on the The Chosen Few all the other captains talk about what football means to them and the pressures of being a leader, so what does he do? He talks about some old skank turning up to his house with a six pack!

Even the players they bring in - whilst they might be talented- are not known to be good clubmen and aren't exactly highly respected. At the same time they push out Patful and Adcock! This is what is seen from an outsiders perspective, let alone what a new draftee experiences. Brisbane need to fix there problems from the top down before trying to shackle players who have zero respect for the organisation. Surely Brisbane fans can see this.

There doesn't seem to be any introspection around the reasons that no one wants to play for them. Its all about how unfair it is that they have to draft talent from interstate and how theres no possible way of making them want to stay without salary cap advantages. Whenever you question them on their board they post that infographic about homesickness as if it proves some kind of inherent disadvantage, when all it really establishes is that no one wants to be there.

LMFAO this at this bit, too many posters towing a party line and reading off scripts.
Lions board is far more responsible for this mess. They should have traded Aish for pick 5 last year that's the issue that is getting looked over, it's likely they flat out refused when Aish wanted to come to us then.

Beams' dad was in remission well before he requested a trade. If you want to try and spin shit at least do a little research.

I agree, but it's more about changing the attitude and values of youth than just the Brisbane FC. Sure, they've worn the brunt of many disgruntled players leaving but there are plenty of other youngsters that have thrown a tanty and wanted to go home.

I think Leigh looks at it in terms of a bigger picture in setting a standard by making and example to young footballers coming through the draft. I'm sure Brisbane have issues behind the scenes but as do a lot of clubs.

Once upon a time being drafted was a privilege with most footballers giving everything to their club and not sitting there just wondering how long it is until they can return home. I think there should be some regulation to protect clubs from this happening, like a ROSO that commensurate with the players drafted position.

I never denied that but I had a mate who was in remission earlier this year and a few months later he was dead. Being in remission doesn't mean its all over.

There's a reason Collingwood has had the 3rd most trades in AFL history, and it's not because they're difficult to deal with.
