Everyone keeps saying stuff like this, but if Brisbane are going to continue to hardball like we did last year, then I don't think that's overs at all. I think that's what will get it done with minimal fuss.

Problem with Brisbane is that ever since we gave them pick 14 for Cameron Wood, they think that they can just rip us off every time

I think it's a case of him not wanting to go interstate.
Not suggesting we should trade him, just wonder if it's on our agenda.

I think we should trade Witts whilst his value remains high, I just don't see the necessity in keeping both Grundy & Witts and I much prefer the mobile ruckman over the lumbering behemoth. Unfortunately I'm starting to think we'll see Witts remain on the list (which I'm not totally adverse to) however with that we'll probably see him leave for far far less at the end of his current contract when he realises he can get far better opportunities elsewhere.

Grundy and Wits on the same list is a luxury but given our lack of depth it is one we can afford. I'd trade Witts for the right deal or keep him for another year or so if the right deal didn't eventuate. Given he said he didn't want to be traded we are probably unlikely to do anything year anyway - and good on him for wanting to stay.
