I would make a couple of changes to your suggestion.

2 years first rounders for Treloar and steak knives (player or pick)
Two picks in the 20s plus Oxley for Aish

Just means we get that extra steak knives from GWS for the same price

Aish is exactly the sort of player need. An primarily outside player with very good skills. We have enough tough inside players

Quick enough but not super quick. Not sure who I would compare him to in pace. He is more quick in mind and with his disposal, he is possibly a poor man's Pendles imo

There is enough currency around to get the Aish deal done relatively fairly. I think they will want a first round pick we will say second. In the end it will be a second plus something.

I actually think we would do our first rounder next year, but have a feeling GWS are wanting that so unfortunately for Brisbane that may scuttle the deal. I think our original thinking would be we are offering 2015 1st rnd & 2016 2nd rnd to GWS and 2016 1st rnd to Brisbane. If you swap it around Brisbane are unhappy.

I think we will have an early 2015 second rounder and possibly a late 2015 second rounder to offer now (maybe with a later pick coming back).

People seem to be wanting to push Oxley out but I think he is severely under rated. It was his first uninjured season and showed a lot. By all means if he wants to go home to QLD then it should be on the table and fair play, but if not I would want something fair back in return not just handing him over. I see Oxley as a really good fit for Brisbane and we have some depth in this area, he won't have the go home factor other Brissy recruits have and will play senior footy in Brisbane. In many ways its a win win for all, but that doesn't mean we gift him away as steak knives. With Crisp we have seen how good steak knives can be.

Honestly? If a forward line containing Cloke, Moore, White, Fasolo, Elliott and Howe can't kick a winning score each week, then we have a serious problem with our forward structure/coaching.

Whilst I don't think Howe would be completely detrimental I really just consider him too much of a one-trick pony, I haven't ever seen him display any attribute at an above-average level other than his marking. Saad on the other hand is a massive no.

Buckley's forward line strategy is still stuck in 2010 mode.

Hawks and Eagles have shown the offense is gearing back to the era of old where skinny, skilled, finesse forwards leading for a mark and running into open space is ahead of the current wrestling-style defenders are accustomed to. Cloke fighting off 2-3 guys only to be beaten to the ball and then rebounded into the opponents forward 50 has happened too often.

Need to play Cloke differently... he needs to run into space again, to mislead defenders who expect him to wrestle with them. Fasolo and other small forwards need to watch Gunston and play outside and then run into open spaces.
