Reminds me a little of Didak with his low centre of gravity. Good kick and highly skilled, but not fast. We could play him both ends of the ground similar to Sidebottom.

I reckon you are on the money. He moves and plays very similarly to Didak. Seems to have a good footy brain, creative, sees things others don't.

If this happens it's proof they just didn't want to trade Aish to us, willing to let him go to Carlton for nothing to spite us. When in fact they are cutting off their leg to prove a point, what that point is I'm not sure considering their list position

Hampton for a 2016 second rounder greases the wheel for us, IMO, because it really only leaves 28 & 32 in play or if we get very audacious Freeman compo (assuming 24) and Seedsman for 13.

We then on trade 13 to Brisbane for Aish. Happy to turf Oxley in on top, but hopefully Brisbane aren't keen and he winds up out of the system.

If Astbury and 31 get lions 17 then surely Seedsman and 24 (from saints) could get Crows 13. Alternatively we get their 28 so people can decide if 24 and 28 is worth 13.

Yeah just checked the draft pick point calculator and I might have been overly harsh on Seedy. He and 24 for 13 as a guide would see him provisionally rated at pick 41.

I think the AFL has slightly overrated picks in the 30's with this system, but that being said Seedsman and a pick circa 30 would be a legitimate option for 13 on that basis if Adelaide are at least open to trading it (not likely IMO) meaning 24 could get it done in theory.

This was my thought exactly. Lose Aish gain 2 x established mids. They will then need to find picks for their academy kids another way.

I think Pickers manages Bastinac too. Reckon this helps us. As long as Aish sticks fat with us being his preference and with Pickers trying to get Bastinac (looking for more opportunity) to Brisbane. Don't think they could complain about that not being fair market value for a 32 gamer.
