DLC is free for any edition, comes with the sound track and a few other things I think. Haven't opened it yet

With the main story the

I think there's still a lot to be explained but one theory is that Alan created Nightingale to become the face of the darkness so his wife wouldn't
 
Just finished this game about 10 minutes ago. Hooked from start to finish, probably my second favourite game now behind ME2.

There was a cutscene where Wake realises that he is the one that wrote everything that is happening, Wake says something like "This is all my fault" and Nightingale replies with "Yeah you're damn right it's all your fault". Made me think he knew more about the situation than most of the other characters and possibly blamed Wake for bringing back the darkness?
 
Picked this one up cheap last week. Don't get much time to game these days and this is the perfect game for that situation, do a few checkpoints and put it down till next time.

About 2 hours in and story is pretty engrossing. Was a bit surprised that the visuals were a little outdated, but i guess that's because it's been in development for so long.

Nice game tho, definitely something a bit different

Great bump. Awesome game, one of the few that had me playing with sweaty palms.
 
Yup, it's truly an awesome game. Although the story had me scratching my head a bit and i don't understand the ending. I'll probably play it again at some point though.
 
So I started the remaster on the weekend
Never played this originally when it came out
I'm up to episode 4 now and it's been great fun and anxiety driving
Narrative driven games that continue that throughout instead of dropping the story after the tutorial and going open world.

i started control ultimate on game pass, saw that it was linked to Alan Wake,
stopped and got Alan Wake and started that instead
