ive got nothing to do with them or that league and hopefully never will.

just i think they should go into the higher comp and have a real crack and put their money where their mouths are and go head to head with other high paying clubs like maffra.
They are proving nothing in the "minor" league and are quite frankly in my opinion doing nothing other than pissing alot of people off and actually pulling the whole standard of footy, not only on the field but off the field to. they are making a bad name for them self and in my honest opinion they are a shit club for not realising they are not wanted / welcome in the AFL and they are proving nothing to no one.

i assume they are strong club, i mean look at all their money, they should have superb club rooms, playing surface etc or the money they are spending is not going the right way, which is the development of juniors etc who keep the club a club. when i say shit club i mean they are shit for not going over the WGLFL. they prove nothing smashing everyone everyweek.

Thanks mate I got the impression of the Tarwin bloke they are not very liked but yeh we will have to see how it goes. I am tossing up whether to play for Inverloch or Leongatha at this stage as I work in Leongatha and finding it hard to get back home to Invy for training on time

yeh mate love a challenge and love to get fit and have a go but at the age 30 is the only thing I think is in my way. but played footy with shepp united in GVL and shepp east in PFL and love playing on good grounds with good facilities and I think that Leongatha's league will have that. But the important thing with footy with me is, just go out and there and enjoy playing with your mates and enjoy playing footy

Wonthaggi will be in the AFL next year and forever and so they should be, they and Yarram have set the the bench mark and its up to all other clubs to think out side the square and fight to attain the standard they have set,
as for lnverloch it was a mighty effort to finish third and we were not disgraced but we now know that we must lift a few cogs to attain this level set by the said clubs , make no mistake lnverloch will improve further next year and if any one would like to come and have a run, you would be made more than welcome. sun, surf, sand, and fantastic girls make lnverloch the place to be in 08,

Wonthaggi are no where near as good as when they were in the WGLFL, they made 2 GF's in a row back then. They had Dean Rice, Chris Day, Murray Silver, Rory Gilliatte, Emile Studham, Sorenson, Noonan and Mabilia was in his prime. There current side would not be anywhere near that, all those guys are superstars.

Christ.....Dean Rice & That Sorenson can play footy a little bit too apparently.

It was one of the last couple of years when Maffra beat them in the GF. Sorenson was an awesome ruckman, rice was just out of AFL. Gilliatte was young and fitter than he has been at nyora. Day has won league BF's in that league, and Mabilia is a freak, as good or better than withers. Fairly handy midfield!
