Went last time, was pretty young but I think I enjoyed it.

Keen to give my old man some tickets for his birthday, just looking on ticketmaster it seems the concert only goes for an hour? Surely that can't be right? It does say approx..

Alice stays on for 1 hour 45 min.. that's how long his last two recent tours I attended lasted but still BELTS 'em out like he is in HIS PRIME!

Highly recommended if you want to see the ultimate ROCK 'Opera' with all the theatrics. Got great seats in the Dress Circle. :thumbsu: Only 22 days to go.

Thanks. As it's turned out just my parents will be going this time.

I still really enjoy his music and would probably enjoy his concerts more now i've grown up a bit and appreciate it more but money and the fact I think my old man would enjoy just the the two of them going means I'll give this one a miss.

Have a great time :thumbsu:

Btw, my fav song would probably have to be Go To Hell. Love the lyrics. :D

Re: Alice Cooper Theatre Of Death Tour

I make a point of never watching Rove but whilst flicking stations last night I noticed that he was on...

I had forgoten how much of a contradiction this dude is!

Such a battered looking human with a pretty 'full on' stage show still but has been 'dry' for 30 odd years I think and is a really well spoken & interesting guy.

(Plays golf off a really low handicap as well I think I remember from somewhere)

RAFLMAO last night when he said that as a youngster hitting LA in the late 60's & early 70's his drinking buddies were Morrison, Hendrix & Joplin & after they all checked-out in such a short period of time he realised he should give the sauce away as well! :p

Let be known for you all who don't already....the late MJ was a fan of Alice back in the day and attributes the Thriller concepts to the brainchild of Alice.

Last night was again magnificent :thumbsu::thumbsu: (wasn't the complete stage dungeon look but the torture on Alice continued.. )

GUILLOTINED - POISONED - HUNG - BOX SPIKED ...hasn't been shot yet...

Song choice was possibly his finest SET LIST.. the Nurse Rozetta tune with his daughter, Calico, playing the saucy Nurse undressing behind a lit up screen was clearly the highlight visual along with 'Cold Ethel' taking the song of the night.. thoroughly entertaining. The smash hit, Poison, was the best LIVE version last night... other times the tweaking from the sounding engineers just overkilled it in the past.

Re: Alice Cooper Theatre Of Death Tour

I was at the show tonight - but as I was photographing I was only allowed in for the first four songs - but the three opening numbers were pure gold - Schools Out, I'm Eighteen and Department of Youth. I would have loved to have seen him performing Cold Ethyl.

Here's a shot from the show - more can be seen here - enjoy.

Alice no doubt has taken Screamin Jay Hawkins stage persona to another level.

I saw him at the Thebby Theater a few years back during the Dirty Diamonds tour. What an absolute legend. The whole stage show and the theater of it was amazing and the band was just awesome.

Is Eric Singer still with the band or has he gone back to KISS? It's so awesome that Alice can just ring up any of the great hair metal musicians of the late 80's early 90's and ask if they want to be in his band and the respect they have for him, they instantly say yes.

But anyway, Alice Cooper is one of those legendary performers that still to this day doesn't get all the credit he deserves. That concert instantly went into my top 5 concerts attended ever.
