Which Hawks are up there at the moment???

Sewell
Buddy
Lewis

And Campbell Brown would be closing down a recommendation at least i think.

This is fantastic as Hodge, Mitchell and Williams (injury) havent been as effective... still a long season ahead!

Buddy for sure, Lewis a shoo in, Campbell Brown against Ireland would be grouse but Brad Sewell? Love the bloke reckon hes a gun but they dont pick taggers in the AA. Will finish very high in B&F and in Coaches Player of The Year but i dont no about AA

A little early but here is my 2 cents worth

Buddy - needs to be effective in every match, at least 4 goals per match will secure it, or if not, a coleman medal with a few large bags, and then games with none.

Lewis - Been playing well, however has not attracted the media attention. Plenty of "bigger" players will get the call over Lewis.

Sewell - Even if his form in tagging drops off he still deserves a spot. 6 rounds so far, 6 massive scalps, most recently James Hird. Sure hird had 27 possessions, but they were mostly ineffective, while at the same time sewell had 25.

mate if he did that he'd kick 88 which no other forward in the comp will do this year. he doesnt have to win the coleman because there are 6 spots up for grabs in the forward line

I think the only certainty to make the AA 1/4 of the way into the seaon is Buddy but how good is it that we would have a number of players in contention so far?

The AA selectors have set the standard with picking Kirk and McDonald as shut down players in the last couple of years, so Sewell would be a definite going by previous years if he keeps up his lofty standards he has set so far this season.

Sorry to be so pedantic "Hawks Heroes" but your last couple of posts have been very hard to read due to your lack of punctuation.

campbell will be a shoe in sewelly too i reckon buddy might be lucky lewis is a hard worker maybe wait and see i reckon roughie could too never know

Someone forgot their medication.

haha @ medication

I think it is too early to call but lewis will not make all australian... He is a great player and gets a lot of the ball but he is not damaging....... He is a scott west type player.

Certainty at this point:
Sewell
Franklin

Pretty damn good chance:
Lewis
Brown

Wait for the charge:
Hodge
Mitchell
