In a change of direction for me I have said goodbye to buxom beauties holding firearms as my Avatar.
I did so a fortnight ago and am perplexed nobody has commented as per usual.
My new Avatar is of "Pompey" Elliott.
If you do not know who he is I think you would benefit from looking into his life.
I have just completed reading a history of his involvement in World War I
He is a Carlton Legend and an Australian Legend. He is the kind of person who made our club and this country the great place it is today.
You may suggest what has that got to do with the current team and I say yes you may be right. But if you do not know the past then you can do nothing about the future.

Just my way of honouring a great man. I have finished this detailed account of Australia's armed forces on the Western Front and had not come across this bloke before. It is the type of thing that should be taught to every school kid, made into a big budget movie and have a grand stand named after him.
If you want me to return to the chicks.....I need some new material. (is there a rule about nakedness on avatars?)
