I think the strategy of Cloke leaving negotiations until later in the year is not a wise one.

In the meantime, if we re-sign the likes of Reid, Sidebottom, O'Brien etc on new deals there will only be so much of the pie left.

His best hope for the biggest dollars is to negotiate now on the back of last year's hot form and whilst we still have money to play with. He otherwise risks Walsh saying at the end of the year "we only have $650k left in the kitty and that's it".

Well going by Articles it was last year he got a Massive Offer and Not this year as you said mate.

Your Rep on posting these sort of things is quite low mate

The irony of questioning rep and posting here, hilarious. Pot/Kettle?

Don't Like don't read it:rolleyes:

Well based on the feedback that you gave on the article I'd say you didn't like it either - it's the worst sports news website going around by a fair margin and is honestly insulting

No Worse then what the Herald Sun Writes

Read this article. This is exactly what I have been saying over the last 12 months re the Pendlebury deal.

The Truth would come out in the end.

But it is believed IMG's lawyers are exploring legal proceedings against Strategic and Pickering for allegedly inducing a breach of contract.

Pendlebury, 24, turned down a huge offer from Greater Western Sydney to stay at the Pies until the end of 2016.

The deal, struck on Wednesday, means he will also be off-limits to a free agency raid when he completes his eighth AFL season next year.

Liam Pickering was working outside the system.

Either way, I am glad Scott is with us. He is the best.

You are attempting to shift the discussion

You said unequivocally that Pendles was gone, at no time did you put any qualification on it.

Now you attempt to move the discussion to, there being a huge offer from GWS, as the point you were making, back then. It wasn't. You said he was gone.

Here's a news flash for you.
EVERYONE expected GWS to put an offer to Pendles, even my near-sighted 12 year old golden retriever was barking it.

Here is a news flash, the whole thing was about Liam Pickering....

As I stated.

Unequivocal because that was the mail.

Blessed, you appear to be in denial.

I distinctly recall several pposts from you, in which you went into great detail about how you overheard a priveleged conversation involving Pickering, which led you to adamantly proclaim that Pendles was signed, sealed and delivered to GWS. No ifs, buts, maybes.

Now it looks like you're trying to deflect, but it's not working as far as I'm concerned, as I don't subscribe to the Hun, so I can't read their articles on line.

You would be better admitting that your early info on Pendles was wrong, and moving on.

You clearly don't realise that people can change their minds.

If you read the information closely, it is obvious that is what has happened in this case.

It is called an in-principle agreement.

And that is what it is.

You said contract though

So no, no he couldn't just change his mind

You said it was like ablett though when he signed during that week window.

Even if it was an In principle agreement that would still require him breaking a form of contract.

So yeah you've been caught posting absolute rubbish.

Wrong mate. He changed his mind. An in-principle agreement is only an agreement to make an agreement and yes he signed that agreement to make an agreement in the future.

In the meantime Collingwood upped their offer considerably.

This lead to a change of mind and a re-signing in two weeks when it seemed it would take forever. Did you ask yourself Why?

Serous stuff happened in the background.

Liam Pickering wasn't meant to be Scott Pendlebury's agent as he is banned but Liam did all the deal. Read the article, it is all there.:thumbsu:
