It works as NRL has plenty of Aboriginal and Polynesian /Maori players who when playing for their espective teams.Who even if it's a exhibition match it's means so much for for players family and cukure. NRL had world all stars v Aboriginals and didnt have not as much as World all St s don't have much to play for. . Afl has strong a Aboriginal contingent but rest of league made of mainly Anglo Saxons. So hard to replicate game like NRL.

Yeh as an event it was great. One to pencil in each year as a highlight of the RL calendar. Surprised it didn't get much media love. I didn't even know it was on until randomly found it a few days ago and even on Bigfooty didn't get a mention until I popped this thread on during the opening ceremonies.

Don't think the media/NRL did it justice promotion wise.
