Brendan Gale discusses his upcoming Tas CEO role on 3AW 11/5:

One of our better exports. Now returning home. Its an other aspect of our good start so far! Parliamentary majority on side now. Grant Obrien leading & ticking the boxes, now Gale takes the CEO role. 3 ticks.
Its just the start, but long way to go yet.

I'm interested to see how the private investment side of the team goes. Many are saying they charge huge fees to pay it back and it also comes with other big risks that could be even worse for the state.

Funny how people say private enterprise is more able & efficient when undertaking projects. Yet the moment one envisages a public/private partnership, it all changes. At least in this case anyway.
Maybe let us know what 'worse' outcomes 'the many' talk about, may be. It may be worth a discussion.

Docklands stadium seems to suck the life out of footy financially for over a decade. It was far too expensive to build and neve really made it as a rectangular venue

Alex Pearce I’ve always been a fan… speaks well and you can sense would love the opportunity to help out with the Tassie side for 1-2 years if his body holds up.🤞🏼Could do a lot worse than have him onboard initially to strengthen the backline & be a bit of a cultural leader to the team.

Skip through to 14:40min mark of the 3AW interview 24/5
