He hasnt shown much for a long time. Do we need him on our list for some reason? Or is he trade bait?

trade bait IMO. played a reasonble game against adelaide and thats about it this year.
i cant see him been on the list next year. we can get something reasonble for him.

Did you read the big write up about him in saturdays heraldsun. As soon as i new he was in it thats it. Could not be bothered reading it as everything about him is crap. He is holding a place in our side a kid could have.

Spot on... he doesnt bring anything special or have any consistancy just play another kid.

i got told about the article. wasnt going to bother with it. there is no need for him in the side. schultz or hughes would be a better option up there. 100 goals in 100 games aint gonna cut it. i hope terry figures this out by the end of the year and gets rid of him.

100 games - 101 goals. still crap. delist/trade/deregister/execute.
 
Try and trade for ANY pick we can get for him, if that fails then delist. Just doesn't do enough to warrant selection every week for mine. Plays all of 5 secs on the ball, is never in the game when he goes forward and consistently racks up less than 18 possies. I'd much rather be playing a Daniel Connors and getting games into a kid rather than waste time on a player who has played 100 games and shown 0 improvement throughout.

That was a brilliant article and probably the best one I've read in months.

I'd like to know if he'll improve by much now that he has a strong work ethic and is finally building fitness. Another pre season would probably put him at his peak though and I don't know how much improvement he has left. Danny Meyer could play Andy's role, has the same skills gets the same low possessions but has enough pace to be a leading option. Of course let's hope one of them becomes something more than just a FP.

now thats somehting i would like to see. meyer hasnt had much of ago so far.
he played a pretty good game against the roos last year and since then ive always thought he could be handy in the forward line.

That's right as of now we should only play players that are apart of the future. It is clear in my mind and everyone Else's that Andrew Krakouer is no longer apart of our future going into the future. He has now played 100 games so we should end his career there with the Richmond Football Club. in 100 games of football he has been mostly cold with the odd good game along the way. He is one of the weakest players at our club and to keep him on the list wont get us anywere in the near future. Surely he knows himself that it would be within his interests to look elsewhere as I don't think he is in our starting 22 there for he would be better playing for another club if anyone would pick him up.

I know I will be in a major minority in saying this but here goes...
I reckon Krak has more to give! Yes he has been a dissapointment in 5 years or so but so has the team around him. Some guys will just never be elite midfielders being able to be rotated through, then "rested" up forward or back. Some players may never have the "motor" required but still have a lot to offer in pinch hitting rolls. The way our forward line should look from next year onward with Richo in the square, Cleve at SHF, Jack & Browny in there as well I reckon there is room for a full time crumbing forward. Hopefully we will get better clearances in the middle and therefore more efficient, accurate and frequent inside 50's (& quickly) so that defenders can't flood back etc... Krak has the ability to snag 2-3 a game, provide some forward pressure, (good tackler) etc...
With this in mind, unless we can get a really good trade deal for him (which I doubt), I say sign him up on a 1 year contract and stop trying to make him into the player he will never be!

he doesnt even look like he wants to play lately. he hardly goes in hard and doesnt put in 2nd efforts. he is meant to be our goal sneak but at them moment he cant even do that.

just one thing hes in his seventh year not his 5th. i reckon you could just about rite this yr of for him. and if he retained for next yr that will be seven yrs of nothing with an 8th on the cards ffs we should just get rid of the dud.

its this sort of list management that has stuffed the club for the last two decades.

I am not going to pay the guy out... He has always tackled hard and had a good attitude when he plays. The problem is blatently leg speed, if he was playing 15 years ago he would be considered a god with his hands. Personally I think its sad that he will go at the end of the year for that reason and that reason alone.
 
Hate to say it, but its time for krak to go. After 100 games he should be hitting his straps and be at almost the peak of his game. However this year he's been in and out of the side whereas when he started out, he rarely missed a game (although Frawley did treat him as if Krak was his first born)

yeh well maybe if he didnt waste 5 pre seasons he could of got an endurance base up to cover for his leg speed or maybe atleast put 1 kg of muscle on his upper body so he could play an inside midfield role but when he was getting the 5 star treatment from miller why would he bother

the duds that work hard i got a bit of time for but not this dud
