1 he hasn't put on any muscle in the time he has been at the club, hasn't gained any speed, and this year proved, he hasn't gotten any smarter, in a football sense, also proven that he can't do his main job, of stopping his opponent ... Superstar ... haha delusions of granduar you seem to have...

2 and being young guarantees he'll get better ? drawing at straws ..
3 actually he can only play back, and i use that loosely, can't play midfield, as isn't smart enough nor has the pace or endurance, plus hasn't got great kicking skills .. Forward donno, as he hasn't been tested there..

4 he is, but doesn't deserve to be, another case of Sheedys favourites getting a better run than anyone else, altho we do have a large number in the supposed leadership group, 12 or something players isn't it ???

5 so ... means ******** all in these times ..

Robert Shaw was on SEN last night and said that Essendon would not be trading Welsh. Although he did not come out on the record and say it he said that the rumour did not start at Essendon - rather the other party he has been linked to.

Crap again. Give me a list of opponent's who have beaten him this season. You will find you'll have a hard time coming up with them. He does his job week in, week out. Averaged 17 disposals along the way.

He gives us plenty of run from half back. I'd leave him there. But there is no reason he couldn't play in the midfield. Doesn't have endurance? Where are you getting that from?
Pace? Well he isn't slow and his foot skills are above average. He has great hands in close, probably second only to Hird at the club.

He won't be a future leader. He is a current leader. The older players respect him, the young players look up to him. He mentors, he trains hard and he knows his footy.
He has earnt his stripes, from his very first contest in AFL footy.
