...on the sidelines for Benny and Goody.

Do we just give up on them for the season put them on the long term injury list, get them right for next year, promote a couple of rookies or do we stick with them?

I have already given up on the 2 and if it was up to me I would place them both on the long term injury list and play the youngsters.

Goody will not play again this year as his injury is a serious one and is said to be 12-16 week injury. No point playing him until he is 100% and thats next season.

Its probably good for Hart to rest his hammy and concentrate on next year.

Can understand the frustration - but why rush them back. Not as if we're in the finals.

This is Benny's first Major injury - I think we have had a really good run with him, and every player is going to have one of those seasons.

Same for Goodwin although his injury history fills a longer page.

I would certainly write Goodwin off, put him on the injury list, and promote a rookie (Hazell)

I don't see the games living in Melbourne.
But by all reports was amongst their best players early. Was playing in the midfield and being tagged (a good sign). Has been quiet apparently last couple of games, but from the scores don't think he's alone.

Goody's injury is a strange one. According to injuryupdate.com.au, Goody's injury is - Adductor tendinopathy
Think his injury is a unique one, and one he will need a long recovery time just to get on the field.

Playing well is another question - rest him.

I think I posted this somewhere before. Goody has ripped 60% of the muscle off the bone and as such will require a LONG time for the injury to heal. If he ripped the mucle off the bone completely then he would have had to have a surgery and that would have meant 16 weeks on the sidelines. The fact that some muscle is still attached to the bone means that he cannot have a surgery on it to stitch up to the bone. Instead his body has to heal the tear naturally and that takes long time, longer than if he had the surgery.

Being healed and having full movement and confidence (no scar tissue) well???

Why haven't we put him on the long term injury list already - seems natural decision?

Channel 10 have stated on tonights news that Goody and Hart are 'indefinate".

Burton, Stevens and Begley two weeks away.

They had a few question marks against Schuback, it appears he has injured his shoulder.

OFF TOPIC
Ayres in the early years did a lot of one on one competitive drills.
Did it B4 games late in the week as well, and was criticised for it.

Comment re Craig appointment that he was looking at re-introducing competitive drills again.

Hey! whats going on here.

Whose decision was it to drop competitive training in the first place?
