AFL Fremantle confirm Anthony Morabito left the training track today with a suspected knee injury. Will undergo further medical assessment.

:(

Please tell me you're joking. F***ing hell.

Fingers and teeth crossed for the kid.

Should play a season or two with Peel before trying the AFL again , its bad luck but must have some ongoing concerns with his knee now . Hope he comes back soon and concentrates on playing WAFL and enjoys it again because injuring a knee every pre-season would be getting too tough .

Sucks for Freo. Seems there is one of these kids every year unfortunately, huge wraps, bundles of talent, injury prone as hell.

With all these injuries in the offseason I swear everyone's hiring The Weapon as a personal trainer..

Feel for the guy, but then I saw a new thread created about him I immediately assumed he had injured himself again.

Hope he gets better soon.

Watching on fox sports news, he looks shattered. I hope for his sake that it is only minor, heartbreaking if it's an acl again.

Flashbacks to Jesse Smith. Extremely talented youngster who just can't catch a break with injuries. Fingers crossed it's not serious, but if it's indeed a third knee reco in three years, he will find it tough to ever make it back. Very sad news :(

Reading the David Parkin article over the weekend - it would seem unlikely he would have another go at it - if the worst has happened. Nothing left in the tank.:(

terrible news, hope he recovers strongly.
It made me ponder pre-season training and the build up to the season proper. Should you work the players very hard or ease them into it? I believe I read that one team has adopted a low impact training regime at least in the early stages. Anyway, I hope we don't see any more of these types of injuries.

Doesn't sound good. Hopefully just a scare.

Bloody hell, poor bloke can't take a trick. Remind me of the Lee Walker situation we had at the pies in the 90s.

Hopefully it's only minor.
