Anthony Raso was picked as a pre-emptive pick with Carlton's last pick in last years draft as they thought that in this years draft he would be a clear first round pick. Among this years draft, at the moment would he be considered as a first round pick?

When they picked him they said he might've been a top 30 pick. Never did they say he would be a first round pick.

We thought the same about Lochlan Veale when we drafted him.

My recollection was that we said he was a likely top 20 pick in 2005.

Must be hard to tell now though - he's spent a year in school footy outside the TAC system. Did he play a couple of games for the Bullants Reserves?

Anybody know if he's grown? - he was listed as a 190cm kpp 12 months ago - Hopefully he's grown an inch this year and has another one to go!

I have made my views on this issue pretty clear before.

Besides, how is anyone her supposed to know when he would be drafted this year when he has been playing school footy all year?

Played some good footy this year down at haileybury finishing 4th in the school B&F.
Expect big things from him next season. Should debut in wizard cup.
Still a bit skinny though and has not grown.
