Now the victorian elections have been called for Nov 30
What chance do ya give Bracksy of getting back in ????

I give him **** all chance at the moment ............

What do you think ????????????????:) :D

Really who is the favourite? I would've thought Bracks if he's calling it early. Or is Labours total control of every state/territory under threat?

The Liberals are ****** even though I'll be voting for them. If Doyle had say one year more as the leader he would be a chance but this Election is a no brainer.

Last time round people asked who is Steve Bracks?
I don't know what the polls are like or what Victorians are thinking at the moment, but I don't think Bracks is a certainty. Doyle's probably got a better chance of getting in than Brogden has of unseating Bob Carr in NSW.

No matter who wins the Liberals will still have control of the upper house and thus have more control then the ALP.

Remember to pass a bill it needs to go though with the support of both houses of parliament, meaning any bill passed will be a Liberal bill.

Bracks will win, but not by much. Doyle will do well but will get an extra 4 years to work his way to the top.

I don't think the Liberals have a chance.

Bracks is still Mr Popular because he's made no decisions, had no policies, and relies on his rhetoric of still blaming Kennett for everything.

Three years in power, the schools are still stuffed, the hospitals are still stuffed, and the only difference for the Grand Prix is that John Thwaites is no longer seen at SAP protests.

I think Steve Bracks and Labor will not only win but win seats off the Liberals and thus be able to form a majority Government here in Victoria. The Liberals are a joke in this state... their leader looks like a poor man's impersonation of baby John Burgess while Steve Bracks has been able to show strong leadership despite having to work with a minority Government over the past 3 years and that's one of the main reasons his approval rating has been so high.... he gets the job done and is able to work with people regardless of whether they're Independants, Labor, Greens etc etc.

I will be voting Labor as always on November 30. :)

Whoever builds the Eastern ring road gets my vote.

Heck if I see tractors within a week I'll join the party.

One issue voter, come and buy my vote!!

Exactly once again the Libs will be able to block every piece of legislation that Labor try to get through Parliament.

Except its convention that you can't block supply or money bils in the upper hosue and therefore they will have the funding for what they want to do.

The public perception is that the Liberals are too disorganised and not ready to govern. Robert Doyle is too silvertail, electorally he is on the nose. Those television commercials are nauseating.

And we never heard JK blame J cain and J Kerner for anything.

They are all polies and thats what they do. Pass the blame around.

I personally think that the stae is going alright at the minute so dont shake the boat.

Labor will win in a landslide.

It appears that a do-nothing Premier is precisely what Victorians want at the moment.
