Need some cricket advise just wondering if we have any bowlers on here.I'm having trouble containing my bowling on the pitch with a cricket ball it seem's to fling on me should I just smash it hard on the pitch or keep trying to ball my yorkers.Playing a 20/20 tournament tomorrow and need advice on it.I can also bowl killer spinners I'm a all round bowler don't know what to do cause rarely play with a cricket ball. Thanks if anyone can help

The great thing about cricket is only about .1 of the population are good enough to face that really quick stuff so the rest of us just chuck pies, bowl fruit and bowl nude balls. Batting wise we chop wood, hold a splinter in our hands when we face up and complain about the state of the pitches we play on.

This is why it is most important that you just enjoy playing cricket with the blokes in your team. Not enough individual glory in cricket unless you are seriously good!

Only got to bowl 1 over the whole tournament and I had blokes yelling at me to bowl slow balls kind of annoying never got the chance to have a dip and show my talent.

Got a slight knee injure in the last game so another 4 weeks before I can run again.The sad thing is we finished last.Though the captain didn't know what he was doing people arguing .etc So in the end next year I find 15 blokes and go win it all a flog my old team mates and go out Chris Gayle style=).

Trained with Fitzroy to Christmas then got invited to play in the 20/20.Kinda of blew that though don't have the body for it apparently or the fitness oh well will prove that theory wrong.I started running earlier today still get a sharp pain in it but oh well should be back to fitness by the end of the month and hopefully find a spot on a list somewhere.
