Positive top draft picks comming up and clear out the list and new coach.!!!

Exactly. Unless there is a new coach and a major clear out we will see membership sales fall through the floor next season. This season isa total write off. The coach has stopped caring, the players have stopped caring. It is every man for himself and Terry is just protecting his financial position. If he had honour he would resign this morning.

All this Richo bashing is ridiculous. The guy is clearly not the problem and if he was why would Melbourne put 3 guys on him in the last quarter? Get a grip u idiots and sit back and have a proper look at the game

U know the positives i saw? When we actually got the ball into the middle of the ground in that last quarter we really opened the game up. Why we are trying to emulate a side like hawthorn instead of geelong is beyond me. I think our playing list with ability to run and carry(hopefully one day effectively) is must more like geelongs as we don't have 2 forwards like roughy and buddy and the good long kicking ball users like dew, guerra, birchall and hodge. Lets funnel the ball thru the middle. I also thought we looked much better man on man tactically.
Nahas, Collins, Graham, Rance all look like they have a future. The good news is if we get coughlan, cousins, cotchin and raines back into the side as well as giving thomson a run we will be much improved.

Positives?
Collins showed something. Still skinny but has a good look about him and moves well into position.
Nahas' defensive pressure and chasing in our 50m arc was just what we need.
Graham was reasonable.
Deledio worked himself back into the game in the 2nd half which was no coincidence in our comeback. Thought his work rate lifted after a quiet 1st half, which showed that he is true professional in his worth ethic.
Connors didn't do much, but what he does is creative. He could be absolutely anything.

Jordan McCheese is still the turnover king and wil hopefully NEVER play anothe game for Richmond

Rance will be a footballer
Collins and Nahas were good - should play every game
Angus was better
Connors needs more game time

Bring in Cousins Cothchin and Cogs and things will improve

Tuck is past his best.

Positives:
Graham
Nahas: Should play the rest of the season out in the 1's. His game yesterday was 10 times the game against Geelong
Collins: Butched the ball but at least he worked hard enough to get it
McGuane: Our best tall defender by this much ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________>
Richo and Bowden: Old warhorses did good. Bleed yellow and black

Yes, after four rounds completed, the Tigers have played four good quarters of football. It is just a shame those quarters were all played in different matches.

My positives apart from Nahas and Collins? I am slightly fond of the Melbourne club song, the half time chips tasted especially nice yesterday, and there were more Richmond supporters than Melbourne people on the train trip home.

Truer word has not been spoken.
Some people will say its creating a scapegoat. Not true, its called watching his performance objectively, he didn't do shit unless he was in your supercoach team, its not hard to get high efficiency % when you get 44 touches 41 uncontested and most of them barely travel 20 metres

You truly have no idea.

NOT EVERYONE HAS TO GET CONTESTED POSSESSIONS.

i reckon nahas will stay in the side, the pressure he supplies is great, leave collin in he is our future, leave graham in the ruck he also is our future,i definately agree we need a solid big man in our backline, maybe polak? We also need to get our foward line working, every game we have lost weve had nearly the same inside 50's,deledio needs to show some heart and go in hard, smae with nafan brown, play for the team browny not yourself, ive lost abit of money on richmond this year but i will be doubling up this weekend against the roos, this will be our first win of the year and if its not i will run naked down my street with a north melbourne hat on,quietly confident

I thought we had one positive, that last quarter, with a little luck it may have been a win. The Tigers against the Bully's and the blues laid down completly in the last quarter , yesterday they didnt stop trying in the last quarter. However they didnt try in the 2'nd and 3'rd ...

Melbourne, bar Brad Miller and Ricky Petterd, tried their hardest to lose that game in the last quater. They were insipid in the last quater. Half the team were injured/off their legs or straning up.

The fact that we beat them in the last quater is hardly a positive given the fact how poorly they player.

Because for a change we didnt stop, From memory green had been off for quiet a while.

The question was did you see a positive , it may not have been much but at least to me they didnt stop.

I agree with that. Plus they had 21 men for practically the entire game.
fact is they were without possibly their best midfielder (McDonald) their best two forwards (Wonnaeamirri and Robertson) and their best player (Green) and they still beat us convincingly. The 8-point margin flattered us.

Exactly.

Getting contested ball is not our problem. We consistently beat our opposition in this department, week after week, including at Geelong.

Our major issue is GIVING THE DAMN THING BACK, usually with poor disposal and decision making (week after week, including at Geelong).

Joel Bowden is an exception (possibly our only one, maybe Deledio as well) in that he almost invariably hits his target, whether that be at 20 metres or 50 metres.

And another thing, JB's high "Uncontested Marks" counts (even though he generally gets as many "Contested Marks" as most other defenders as well, but I digress) have more often than not been accumulated in our backline.

Now, I don't particularly want my defenders taking, or even going for, too many "Contested Marks". I'd much prefer they make the spoil. And Joel is also quite adept at this skill - he rarely even attempts a Contested Mark, especially in our defensive area.

You see, he's a smart footballer. And we don't have that many, so treasure it while it lasts.
