The Footy Show had Robert Harvey on last night and JB asked him a question on Spud. Harvs answered the question and then went on to say that he and Stewart Loewe found it funny how that whilst coaching Richmond, Spud would drop in after games.

Just when you thought you couldn't hate a bloke anymore...

Did he? I thought he said they dropped in on him. The Nathan Bourke game showed where his heart really lay, and it was not with us.

His exact quote was "funniest part that we had with Spud; myself and Loewey when we played was when he was coaching Richmond and dropping in after games"

Then the entire panel had a bit of a laugh at our expense once again.

That is why it is so important that we turn this club around from being the laughing stock of the AFL to the powerhouse it deserves to be.

In closing, i hope StKilda get smashed and go out in straight sets.

Nah didn't see him on footy show cos it's a bogan knobhead show and haven't seen it since Allan Jakovich was on it!
I'd watch it if Tim Watson or David Schwarz was on it cos they're hilarious. And Commetti and Dermie with their one liners. Bloody Seinfeld all over.

At least plough has no allegiance to an old club! Robert Walls and Spud both couldnt have given a rats about us while they coached.

I saw it and cringed as well.
Also, the Footy Show asked exactly the same questions as Mike Sheehan did in his interview with Harvey after On the Couch on Monday night. Lyon and Bryshaw are absolute tools.

I had a different take on it. As i recall, around mid 2002 we'd started OK and we faced StKilda on a Saturday night. The Bummers had flogged them by 100 the week before so we had it chalked up as a W. But we blew it by a few points and our inevitable slide set in. That night as Frawley was trying to sleep at Bungaree (think that's where he lives), Harvey and Loewe paid him a visit at about 3am to gloat. Frawley was a bit pissed off at the time, no doubt chuckles about it now.

How you got that from what was said is beyond me....

Harvey was clearly taking the piss out of the fact he was the Richmond coach yet still came past after coaching games.

Lets face it, Danny Frawley was the biggest disgrace to ever coach this club. His heart never beat yellow and black...was always black, red and white.

So hang on, what the issue? Coaches aren't allowed to have friends outside the club? They must severe ties with all people from their previous team when they take on the job? I'm sorry, I just didn't think there was anything in it. Who gives a flying **** if he went and visited his mates after a game???

I think Spud's name should be strucken from any records at the club

let's just red pen the records and say that between 2000 and '04 we had a captain coach

what a ****wit

This is simple but true.... anyone with a name like Spud ( i know he was a potatoe farmer)cannot be overly intelligent :o.
So it does not suprise me that he would be stupid enough to drop in to see he's mates after coaching us after a loss:o.... you think most people of lets say of average intelligents would perhaps watch the tape after the loss to see were they might of erred in their coaching that day:o.

Did you watch TFS and see in what context it was said?!?!? Judging by your comments, I am presuming not ...
