Melbourne Tigers v Perth Wildcats practice match. It's free and should be a good chance to get a look at the new roster for this season. Can't wait to see D-MAc in a tigers top doing his thing. Apparently the Tigers are trialling a guy who scored twenty points last night against the Giants. Not sure his name but should be playing tonight. Hope to see you there!

No worries Matty C, Perth won by about 6. Didn't take much notice of what the stats were but I can tell you Gaze was top scorer for us. Bradtke for some unknown reason played 48 minutes when he looked a little lethargic. Ballieu (I think that's his first name) Green was excellent for the Tigers (not sure if he's from the states or what). D'Mac was very good, will be extremely helpful in the steals/assists department. Copeland was in and out. Smith played alot of minutes and was probably the most intense player. Corletto got a few minutes but couldn't get his shot going. Hoare was average. McMillan got some minutes but I'm still not sure why they persist with him year in, year out. For Perth Thompson shot the lights out (possibly a forty point game), Grace was terriffic as always, US important Jon Jackson looks like a very handy big man, Ronaldson contributed, Harvey got a bad ankle injury, Burston got no minutes. Overall the game didn't seem to be taken very seriously by either side. Alot of low percentage shots taken. Best things to take out of the game for the Tigers would be the prospect of this Green fella and the still apparent brilliance of D-Mac.

Another injury to Harvey.....say it isnt so!!

Zheng Wu s injured at the moment and may miss the season opener. Harvey definitely hurt his ankle but you'll have to check out a perth website for the extent of the injury
