Why do the Coodabeens call the kangaroos the AAA's?

Maybe you should ask them why they are called the Coodabeens?

It goes back to when they changed from North Melbourne to the Kangaroos. One of the boys - or it may even have been a listener, can't remember - suggested North were such an innovative club, they would go even further and change their name to the AAA Kangaroos so they could be listed first in the phone book!
