I remember when we attended in 2011 ( EFC home game and members ) we booked at 9am ( remembering waking up at 6am HK time Ouch ! ) we could only get level 4 seats in the Southern Stand. Wasn't too bad because it was the wife's first time at Anzac Day and she enjoyed the ceremonies.

But you have to think that members should get better than Seats on level 4.

Absolutely. I could only get Q section tickets in row P! Mind you that was at about mid day. Any idea when the dreamtime tickets go on sale? I've been trying to get some but it wont let me :(

What the __ happened this year??

Previously I have been able to get tickets at 1pm or 10am on the day of sale..this year...I'm online at 9:00AM....allocation exhasted...the way they sell these tickets is screwed. Something needs to change.

On a side note, anyone know if with the anzac day seat guarantee through the club, you get get a couple seats together with a couple of memberships??

Jay

The clubs are holding on to tickets in the hope people sign up as members. All available tickets (including standing) will be available from midday on April 22.

Where did you hear this? That is pretty average, I have a high mark reserve seat but I have about 8 people from Perth coming over and they want to buy the tickets!

Ticketek operator.

I need two tickets myself.

Heh, that's annoying. I reckon I might try and buy them in person on the 22nd then- I could imagine the website being painfully slow given that April 22 is very last minute.

So are the reserve seat upgrades allocation gone also meaning that the only membership getting you a seat now is bronze premium or above?

I have silver membership which has a reserved seat to all Melbourne home and away games at the G and Etihad.

I don't need to confirm my seat or anything? just turn up on the day and scan in

i do this every year worrying that ill fly down from Brisbane and wont get in haha

Does anyone know if I had a flexi11 or bronze membership, is there still seats available to upgrade to a reserve seat or are they all part of the same general public allocation that is now exhausted?

Flexi or bronze basic will not get you a seat to Anzac Day. You'll need bronze premium or above, which have MCG reserved seats with them. Or you can bite the bullet and wait until April 22 and hope there are still seats remaining.

Thanks OzBomber.

I have found one alternative after a call the club which I'll outline below in case any one is keen.

Any membership level will give you access to the $20 Anzac Day guarantee, this will allow you to purchase a guaranteed seat between the 8th and 15th April for $36. So if you don't already have a membership or you want to pick up a extra ticket, sign em up as a beyond the boundary basic member for $50, ring the club and buy the $20 Anzac Day guarantee before 5pm today and then you can jump online at ticketek between the 8th and 15th April and using your barcodes buy your seats together.

Hope this helps anyone bomber fans who missed out today!

Hey guys, sorry to intrude.

My family and I booked flights and accommodation well in advance for the Anzac Day game and unfortunately the tickets sold out so fast we were unable to get any tickets.

If anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated and will be rewarded.

Thanks guys.

There's a few options for you.

If you're willing to take a chance, you can wait until April 22 and buy some of the next batch to go on sale. The other option is to buy the cheapest Essendon memberships with ANZAC Day reserved seats. It's our home game, so there's plenty of Essendon memberships with access. I'd call the club on 1300 GO BOMBERS and see if they're offering a 3 game membership with ANZAC Day reserved seats. The other option is to try your like with eBay type sites.
