Who will be dropped for this clash -

Travis Cloke has to go and get some confidence. Every game he plays he seems more confused. Today was a shocker for him, and in my mind the last nail in the coffin as far as retaining his place, in the immediate future. His disposal just is not up to it at the moment. Hopefully he will get some form / confidence at Williamstown.
Richards, just struggles at this level, l know he was up against one of the best in Lade, but his work around the ground is pretty average. Did he actually have a kick??
Dick, struggled today, conditions didn't suit him, but l feel he will make way for others.

Everything goes against us on Wednesday, injuries, the conditions we had to play in, and a tough, brusing match. Compare that to Essendon who played in the dry at Telstra Dome, and their current form, we will struggle.

If Presti is out l would play Nathan Brown / Tyson Goldsack give one of them a go on the big stage. Look to the future, we played 3 debutants in one game why not play a youngster on ANZAC Day.

If presti misses then Wakes has to play.
Whilst i rate our youngsters i'm not sure if i want them lining up on Lloyd and Lucas just yet.

I can't see how we'd drop 3-4 players when up to 4 maybe out injured. 7-8 changes in one week...unheard of.

Maybe bigfooty posters ID should show the age of the poster because it all seems pretty juvenile to me.

Today, Pies busted a gut bit were over-run by an injury free, and classier side.

I am looking at it from a perspective that all players today are cleared of any injury, my ins and outs are based on that. I would say Presti would be the only real concern, in playing next week.
Stick to soi dogs Thai magpie...

There is no way we will drop Cloke, because as a result of MM inept list management, we just don't have anyone else to play there. Maybe bring in a Ried or Brown instead, but they'll hardly produce any more then Cloke.

I think we have to persevere with him. How many 20 y.o's do you know of that are playing at CHF and taking the world by storm?

If we were fair dinkum, we would be dropping Licuria, but we all know that MM won't be dropping his love child.

Agree with D(ck....bit to skinny at the moment, and I don't think we can carry 3 rookies at the moment.

Richards is poo.

Out: Richards, D(ck, Licuria
In: Byran, Didak, Medhurst.

Licca might miss as well. I have been against him, but we are deffinately going to need his toughness if not anything else on Wednesday. I;m glad i;ve parted way with all my Essendon supporting mates. Thank god they all moved to QLD.

On another note, Shannon Cox was deffinately my best story out of today. He showed that he will play a lot of senior footy this year, and will produce a lot more in the good conditions. They boy can seriously play. Very exciting.

Our football club is generally in good health. Without getting carried away we have 2 potential superstars who will run through the midfield in the coming years, and young CHF who works very hard, but is still a fair way away, and still a lot of kids to try out.

I was looking forward to watching Dick's second game today, but when I saw the rain I knew we would get nothing from him today as he is about 65kg dripping wet. He was pushed aside very easily due to that. But he will learn and head back to Willy and be better for it.

Toovey was good but i'm still not quite convinced. Although he looks like the type of player who will never leave you wondering. A lot will be known about our season and where it will go over the next 3 weeks.

I don't think that we will get thrashed by the bombers on anzac day.

Regardless of form or ladder position. Just the atmosphere alone on anzac day always provides for a great match.

:)

Thats a good point. If you can't lift infront of 90,000 people then you're in trouble hey.

Think you might be spot on with those changes Coiny.

But this is Wakelins absolute last chance. He might get a good match up against the tall bomber forwards.

Still not sure I can see us winning though. But goddammit we will give our all!!!!:thumbsu:
