So does that still leave one men's and women's? I'm not sure about the men's, but I don't think I'd be giving one to Luczak. He's pretty much retired, and I think it would be better to give some of the players you guys have mentioned the experience.

With the women's I'd be giving the WC to Rodionova. Rogowska can go into quallies.

No there is 2 left in mens and 3 in the women. Why Luczak he hasnt played since halfway through this year. It would be a disgrace and a waster if he got won he would win 3 or 4 games. I would give the other to too Ben Mitchell and Greg Jones. Womens i would give to Rogowoska, Holland and maybe Rodionova. Im a bit dirty about giving one to Rodionova though as she is only two spots out of the draw. She could have played challengers to get in the main draw but chose not too.

correct me if i am wrong but i remember hearing on a four courners episode last year 'the state of play' that one of the possible influences to giving kubler a wildcard was that t.a would get a slice of kublers prizemoney if he got through any rounds of the aus open so it was a win win for both parties

Yeah, exactly right. Was an absolute joke the whole thing.

Luczak would get a WC as a farewell type thing. But there is probably one too few spots this to happen sadly.

Yes Ebden gets in on his own ranking. He did just recive a WC to Brisbane though that's probaly what they ment.

Ebden probably would of gotten in by his own ranking to Brisbane , could of waited a few days.

If 2 players pull out then he will get in and then it will free up the WC for another player.
