Apple ipod

probably definitely going to get one on Friday (- duty), wondering if anybody on here has an ipod, how long they have had it for, and have they had any problems so far (battery or otherwise).

I've been researching into the possibility of getting one as well, and the common problem that seems to keep popping up is the issue of batteries, and the cost or replacement. On the other hand, I've heard good things about the navigation system it uses.

There's also good, if not better alternatives around, such as iRiver.
