I'm not a huge fan of third-person shooters, or extraction titles, and most of my MP time over the journey has been in RTS or MOBAs. But I think ARC Raiders is going to be huge. Is getting a lot of positive press and the gameplay mechanics sound great. There's a free server stress test weekend from the 17th October for all and sundry (sadly I'll be interstate). Hoping they've taken some steps against cheaters on PC. I spent a small fortune on a new racing setup for Project Motor Racing, but I now see me wasting way more time in this!

Played a couple rounds today, really enjoyed it. Kinda like The Division meets Metro meets Terminator (loose). Very much my style of MP game, although I do wish it was more PvE than PvP but I'll take it.

830pm is a rubbish time to release in AU so I won’t get on until Friday arvo. Pumped though! Can’t remember the last time I was this keen for a game.
 
Having a great time thus far! Even meeting a few friendly raiders which isn’t something i expected in a PvP environment.

Runs incredibly well on ultra and 4K on a 3080 as well (though only have the one map so far). Very polished game.

Mate. it's your old boy fap cke here.

I just installed it - I'm usually a wait until a game is $6 on steam kinda guy but I couldn't hold off on this one after watching lots of videos online.

My rig is pretty ancient these days so not sure how it will run but I'm keen to have a run around.

Great! I think it scales really well on older hardware. I’m about 25 hours so far and really don’t have anything but good things to say. It’s a very well-designed game.

I’m interstate for a wedding but will be back next week.

It was a bit of a chug fest so I've already put in an order for a new CPU/mobo/RAM.

I hope not. While I enjoy the PvP i don’t want it to become the only interaction I have with players. Right now there’s a great balance imo, at least in AU servers.
