Where is "Western"?
You dropped Stevie J for one of those Freo players. We had a rookie listed carpenter from the central coast and 2 delisted freo players let alone other pick ups like Simpson.
Perhaps his alcohol problems, the reason the Bulldogs traded Leon to Richmond during his playing days, never really left.
We did actually, 4 week club imposed suspension. He starred in the Grand Final a couple of months later. Was a wonderful dayPossible. Last night made me drink to.
Yet you dont trade/drop players for glassings. Weird.
Im sure it was. Dont dine on it to long or its 50 years for the next one.We did actually, 4 week club imposed suspension. He starred in the Grand Final a couple of months later. Was a wonderful day

Our backline for the premiership last year included rookies, DFAs, a PSD pick and only one player taken in the ND by the Bulldogs (Wood, rnd 3).
You've got a super talented list led by a coach who doesn't seem to be able get the best out of them. Perhaps his alcohol problems, the reason the Bulldogs traded Leon to Richmond during his playing days, never really left.
Yeah, hopefully professionals who lead by example help pull him into line. Like Callan "cement head except when Zaine's around" Ward or Sam "not the swan the good bloke one" Reid. The slab of cokes Leon smashes down in the box are either packed full of Bourbon or it's the compulsive drinking of an alco living on the edge. Who can blame him with a pathetic bunch of heartless 'me' players.
Sad to see Leon unravelling.
Bokonons having a meltdown lol.
Why has this legitimate thread been taken away from the main board? Lame.
I did thisThread tital lol,
Some mod still hasn't gotten over last night it seems
They had more experience than the Crows last night.Still very young. People just got ahead of themselves that talent would be enough override the need to gain experience and find the right combination of talent on the field.

Yeah, those kids Delideo, Shaw and Mumford who played like crap just need a few more pre-seasons under their belt.Still very young. People just got ahead of themselves that talent would be enough override the need to gain experience and find the right combination of talent on the field.

That "still very young" is not a valid excuse, as you claim.Deledio has been there 5 minutes and played 3 games. Mumford is old and been playing injured and Shaw is on the decline. Your point?

We beat them last year with kids playing for us too.
GWS have 7 players over 30, two more are 28.They are still young. Yeah your kids were surrounded by plenty of experience.
When your kids were coming into they league they came into a team with a fair chunk of experience.
When GWS started up a lot of their young players were thrown to the wolves early on.
Giant's average list age is 24.5, Adelaide 24 (as of the start of the season). For average games played, Giants are 3rd overall, Adelaide 15th.They are still young. Yeah your kids were surrounded by plenty of experience.

Of those who took to the field last night, the Giants players averaged 109 games of experience each, Crows 102.
It's a crappy excuse.
Yeah if only GWS had some experienced players in their first few years.A Gold star for you for lack of comprehension. Don't lose it now.
I wouldn't say 'excited' is really a word you'd use to describe last night's pathetic performance.Mutts fans way to excited after 1 loss.
We are still in it.
Umlike them.
