i heard on the news that a group of nrl players are stuck in cancun, mexico getting bashed by hurricane wilma and are in some trouble.

what the hell are they doing in cancun anyways when wilma has been approaching mexico for the past week and it's the strongest hurricane ever recorded.

surely anyone with half a brain would have high tailed it out of the gulf area long before wilma made land fall........maybe these twits were still on the p iss after mad monday and had no idea where they were and what was happening.......either way it's bad press for our sport when there are such knucklehead players constantly embarrassing us.

4 players caught in a storm.... you have no idea how well prepared the mexiacn authorities were in informing people of the size of the storm or its path of travel.....

yet you ask if it means all RL players are dumb.....

In any case reports are that the 4 players are safe and well, so I'll take the chance to lock this thread before we get out of hand on what basically is a non issue other than the well being of 4 NRL players and their friends which is more important than the chance for fans of the two codes to get silly, pointless pot shots in against the other.
