If David Armitage does not get back in the team this week (assuming he is not injured and according to the official AFL injury list, he isn't), on top of his non-selection late last season, then if I was his manager I would be on the phone to the Gold Coast pronto. Wtf did he do wrong to lose his spot before many other non-performers and after Monday's debacle and the fact we were SMASHED at the stoppages how could he not be included this week.

Armitage was given a weeks rest. Not sure why, possibly gearing him up for a large increase in TOG.
 
Gotta say if he and a forward are not brought in this week I would be tempted not to watch. This is becoming a joke.

Sensitive much? As I said, Armitage was dropped for disciplinary reasons. Another poster has also backed up Hayes laying the law down to him (in the Carlton thread) & calling for omission.

If you're going to come onto our board and claim he was dropped for disciplinary reasons at least have the decency to respond to our supporters asking for details.

Not really, I have no ill with Armitage b/c I don't know much about him. I also feel my opinion of him is not influenced by the Ball situation.

I have no problem with people saying things like this as long as it is factual

The problem i have is that he has made huge claims and is yet to back them up with anything, and if i know hack journos like Hutchison, Wilson, Sheahan & Co. they would sell their own mothers to get their grubby paws on a story like this...

You would assume Hutchy/Damo would wait until they have an audience.

The saints are usually pretty good with there lack of info though.

Have also heard the rumour that The Panther is talking about it. Have no facts to prove anything, so I hope it's just a rumour, but I suspect there is more to it.
