Ok so far in week 1 of the finals we have:-
Qualifying finals:
Richmond v Hawthorn
West Coast v Collingwood

The Filth have to travel to WA.

but I quite like Simpson. From all accounts he's a pretty good human being.

Can't see the Sydney teams winning the flag so I'm on the Eagles during the finals.

Finals - Week 1

Thursday, September 6

First qualifying final
Richmond v Hawthorn at the MCG, 7.20pm AEST

Friday, September 7

First elimination final
Melbourne v Geelong at the MCG, 7.50pm AEST (series ticket match)

Saturday, September 8

Second elimination final
Sydney v Greater Western Sydney at the SCG, 4.20pm AEST

Second qualifying final
West Coast v Collingwood at Optus Stadium, 6.10pm AWST

Both bad outcomes.
I think the tigers are just too good at home on the MCG and can't see anyone beating them. Also I don't live over there anymore so don't have to put up with the feral supporters.
I just couldn't take going to work/outside the house or watch TV/listen to the radio if West Coast win their smug/arrogant/entitled chardonnay sipping fans and the sycophant media over here would be unbearable.

All this talk of premierships, a dynasty because of all these high draft picks - nonsense. They might get eliminated in the first week. Just goes to show you that high draft picks don't necessarily get you success, it's culture, work ethic and proper development that does. Sometimes you gotta have a bit of luck too.
