The Mole vs. Jet Pack man! On Tiny Town!

Any reason to bring this thread back from the brink of oblivion...another good episode last night - good, but not great. But hey, who wants to be picky about something so consistently good.

I thought the episode was very good. The end scene between jet pack man and the mole was the end result of some very clever storylines (as usual with AD). I loved it.

The bit with Rita and George Michael in the stair-truck was hilarious.

Rita :"Let's listen to some young peoples music"
GM : "Okay"

"Hot potato...hot potato...hot potato...hot potato... potato ...potato...potato !"

:D

that's not a trick, IT'S AN ILLUSION!

A trick is something a whore does for money...

It was also good to see Buster come out a winner at the end.
How funny was the 'hug' with the dove in the pants.

Last nights episode was one of the funniest. It featured a lot of references to trying and save the show.

They mentioned the SaveOurBluths.org website, had the narrator [Ron Howard] say "Please tell your friends about the show" and they had heaps of celebrities drop in [Zach Braff,John Larroquette,Richard Belzer,Andy Richter].

The also made mention of the Home Builders Organisation [H.B.O] and Showtime helping out. :D

The O.C references during the series are very funny.Anytime someone says "O.C",somebody replies "Don't call it that".

At the end when Michael was talking to George Michael and said he may have "O.C.D" I was thinking, perfect time for Ron Howard to come over the top with 'Dont Call it That'. Yeah I'd read about this episode ages ago how it was the one where they were trying to save the show, true shame they couldnt find a network.

What was with the ending and the 'live' shots? I didn't quite get that part.

At the start I think they joking made it out to be a live to air episode, which it really wasn't.So they had that joke at the end and then mentioned they had to do it again in 2 hours for the West Coast of America.

At the start they also said some dies, then halfway through the narrator says "Okay,it her that dies".Very funny.

You knew John Larroquette would make an appearance in the series.I think it was Kitty a few episodes ago who mentioned she had a relationship with a guy from Night Court - "It's not Harry and it's not Bull".

I thought the whole episode was a bit lacklustre to be honest - some genuinely hilarious moments, but the whole storyline was a bit underdone

When the episode aired a few of the bigger rating sitcoms in the States like Will and Grace were doing 'live to air' episodes as a ratings gimmick. It was a play on that.

Showtime offered to pick AD up but the creator Mitch Hurwitz? decided to end the show

The last line in last nights episode was very funny when you consider who played Nellie :D

Michael: Even if we’re not related, I think I would like for you to work here. You’re very, very good at it. What you do for a job is not really a great way to make a living, you know?
Nellie: I make 300 grand a year.
Michael: Marry me. It’s weird on so many levels.
