This! I don't know a great deal about the Suicide Squad but isn't Deathstroke meant to be a member of the squad in the comics?

From the end of the ep last night, I got the impression that the Suicide Squad are 'allied' to Slade so are they working for him or do they have mutually shared goals? Hopefully we learn more next week.

I was reading the IGN review this morning and in the comments, a few people are suggesting Harley Quinn was teased in the extended trailer - I wonder if there is any weight to that speculation?

Yeah! I thought I had read that somewhere - might have been either in Injustice or more likely the Green Arrow comics.
 
Another really impressive episode last night

I really hope they keep Slade around past season 2. I'd also like to see more Malcolm come back into the picture and a few of the other villains like Clock King.

With the Flash TV show being in the same universe to Arrow - does anyone reckon there will be some crossover between the villains as well? It could be a handy way for them to give more screen time to the Suicide Squad/Birds of Prey etc down the track (if they are planned to be around longer term) as well as giving viewers more incentive to watch both shows.

The Suicide Squad is more of a Deadshot team, he is the one in the New 52 that was the leader. and as for Harley Quinn they have taken so many Batman characters why not her also, but with how the SS work it will more likely be that Waller doesnt like what Slade is doing and send them to find more about him and shut him down. he could work with them later on but i doubt they will work together, the SS are doing secret dangerous missions to bring in or kill a villian to work off time from the sentence. I still think Waller needs to be fat CCH Ponder would of been the best fit, but they went the New52 Waller.

There is no ep next week back on the 19th.

IMO if they do another DC character into a live action show take Jonah Hex and put it on HBO or FX get Thomas Jane to play him IIRC he wanted to do the movie. and have it a old western when he just is the bounty hunter and mix in some of the weirder stuff from the comics. i would love that but a Suicide Squad show would also be cool unless they do live action and try and use King Shark [I love him in the comics but live action would be a mess]

I thought Slade knew of Diggle's capture at the end of the episode (when he asked Ollie why he hadn't taken the shot yet) so figured the SS must have been working for or with Slade?

Then again, the squad needs to have some kind of reason to make Diggle join their ranks - I doubt he would do that if they were working with Slade so there must a compelling reason for him to eventually join them.

With team arrow growing in numbers too and if the SS do investigate Slade, I feel Slade will to get some more henchmen/villains to help even up the numbers. Maybe could open the door for the League of Assassins to return and a possible Ra's Al Ghul reveal later on/or in the finale to set up season 3.
 
Is anyone planning to watch that Gotham show focusing on a young Gordon? Think it will be on a different network (Fox?) so might not be able to have crossover with the Arrow/Flash universes (possibly meaning some DC characters can't appear on both shows?)
 
Just watched ep 15.
I watched it with a couple of workmates.
Were as blokey as they come.

Yet when Slade met Roy we all giggled like little girls.
Love this show
 
**** that was gross as at the end.

Loved the handshake between Roy and Slade.

I will watch it, but to be honest i dont have high hopes for it. Always wondered if they would make a batman reference on this show. One his gang could tell Oliver to be more like fellow billionaire Bruce Wayne lol

Yeah, I would love Arrow to do some references to Batman (even if it's just a name drop like Queen Consolidated is competing against Wayne Enterprises or maybe a news report in the background or something like that).

Maybe when the Batman vs Superman movie starts getting closer to release, they could have one of them appear on the show in a cameo role - that would be awesome! (though I think someone from the show said they are different universes?).
 
Could be possible, I believe WB own the CW network, but I think for the most part the movies and tv shows will be separate. Would be cool if they decide to use Stephen Amell and the new flash dude (forget his name) in the upcoming justice league movie along with all the cast from the MOS sequel.

Yeah that would be awesome!

So far they would have Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman from the MoS sequel.

Then you could potentially add in Arrow and Flash. I think there was some talk not long ago of Dwayne Johnson (the Rock) being Green Lantern as well.

If all that came to fruition, they'd nearly have a whole team to form the justice league - unless they want to add in Cyborg and Aquaman too?

Like they said the main cross over issue is that Gotham is a prequel I always imagine all the superheros being the same age.

Thought Episode 16 was really disappointing. Was expecting more from the squad.

I really liked it though I assumed it was just an intro to be built upon later. I was saying a couple of episodes ago that I was hoping for more Diggle and Russian mafia and we got that, add in the Harley Quinn cameo, a minimum of the Lance sisters and Slade dubbed Deathstroke and the episode rates pretty well with me.

Though it does lose a few points for the lack of Felicity in workout gear.

Thought Diggle held his part of the story well. And I love that shot with Oliver looking at the projector with the Russian guy in the foreground.

Felicity in pj's was awesome too.
 
What's this about a Harley Quinn cameo?

Thought the episode was pretty boring. The squad was cool, liked the Diggle centric episode, just the execution was a bit of a snoozefest.
