Good call, was thinking it was strange that the blood storyline never really came to much. Won't be surprised if he does a half season holiday before a big reveal like Malcolm.

And no way is Malcolm dead but kudos to Thea for shooting him anyway.

I haven't watched the episode yet but I challenge any straight male to not achieve movement upon laying their eyes on Summer Glau in a tight leather suit.
I didn't.

She did look better with the mask off, but man, she does not do well in costumes.

Also a bit late to the party with these but my mate sent them to me and thought they'd be worth sharing.

With all the 'I love you' floating around i thought i was watching a teen drama.

Wasn't impressed at all tbh
I was hoping one of the I love you's was leading towards a death.

Overall, it was a bit of a letdown. Summer's death, Slade's capturing. Thea off with Malcom. Though it will be interesting to see where they go with the storylines (including Hong Kong).

Very cringeworthy, but it is the CW after all.

The show has kinda been on the borderline all season, but has gotten away with it for being entertaining. But I think it went a bit far in this ep.

Lets be honest. Im still shaken up over Moiras death. Like WOW.
The last 3 episodes were just fillers. The darkness and shock factor from the scene was epic. Should have been the finale or atleast penultimate episode. Seriously for 3 more eps whilst Ollie tries to catch the man who killed his mum, it just didnt work. Needed to end the revenge hunt quicker.

The most cringey thing whilst were on topic was Roy waking up and shooting arrows like hes a natural.

Ollie did do a lot of training with Roy before he left.

I was a bit disappointed/underwhelmed by that final ep but I guess given there have been some pretty big episodes this season and the fact the final 3 episodes happen in real time (like a movie broken up into 3 bits) it's probably understandable.

Malcolm apparently will be a regular cast member next season - looking like he could be the season 3 villain with maybe Thea as well? I'm so relieved they didn't kill Deathstroke/Slade - I think its safe to assume he will escape and be back for revenge (though he won't have the Mirakuru power boost - unless he stashed some on the island?). I'm also glad Sarah didn't die - she's not one of my favourite characters but at least they keep open the possibility of a cameo/return in future. I think she makes a better (more believable) Canary than Laurel. Sad about Isabel though :(

Was pretty cool to see Roy finally become the Red Arrow though have to agree that it was weird to see him being a pro archer so soon? I can't recall him being very competent in any of his training sessions earlier in the season?

I'm looking forward to the change of scenery for the origin flashbacks - probably will help explain how Ollie became fluent in Mandarin - maybe we will see him cross paths with China White and the triads?

Any guesses on what happened to Lance? I kept thinking of that scene in the Dark Knight where Joker puts a phone bomb in one of his goons.

P.S No Bronze Tiger was disappointing

Pretty sure Lance's injuries were just from getting belted across the room by one of the mirakuru hench men, probably succumbed once the adrenaline was gone.

I actually liked the finale, the double fight between Oliver and Slade worked well enough and there was enough of an excuse for why Oliver thought Slade was dead and didn't need bringing up in season one. The I love you scenes were cringe worthy particularly the post fight one but you kind of expect them and it's interesting to see the mansion set empty after being such a big setting early on.

I liked bringing together so many of the side characters and Sarah should work well if they use her as a call-in a few times next season, god help us with the Laurel/ Black Widow storyline.

It also feels like a good time to move the flashbacks on from the island and bring in new settings and characters, it looks like the island will be the Green Arrow's Arkham Asylum. Again a good time for Thea to admit she's been weak and leave with dad (freeing up Roy for full time side kick duties) but they'll need to do something with her other than bringing her back as another leather clad archer.

Whatever happens from here kudos to them for really getting season two right imo, the first season was good but the second really improved on it.

Ah no worries, I might need to go back and watch the scene again regarding Lance. I though I saw something glowing under his skin but maybe I'm wrong.

The fights between Ollie and Slade (cutting between on the ship and back to the present) were really well done I thought.

Maybe we will see a power struggle between Ollie and Thea for Queen Consolidated (with Malcolm pulling the strings/whispering in Thea's ear?).

Overall, it was a fantastic season I thought, can't wait for season 3!

After seeing the Flash trailer too, I'm keen on seeing that. The crossover between the shows could create some interesting possibilities too.
