In case you missed it, eddie's hero Pratty resigned for Durham....maybe he'll become butterfingers caddy for England. Here's the story fromBBC Sport

More importantly for eddie is the news his fav fast bowler is also returning to Durham as their second overseas signing....

Pratt agrees new Durham contract

Pratt the unlikely hero
Gary Pratt has accepted a one-year contract extension with Durham, bidding to secure a permanent spot in the side.
Pratt, 23, became a cult hero when he dismissed Aussie captain Ricky Ponting while acting as a substitute fielder during the fourth Ashes Test.

He is a one-day regular for Durham but failed to break into the County Championship team in 2005.

"My feet are on the ground and I'm just concentrating on getting in the Durham side," he told BBC Sport.

Aussie bowler Mick Lewis will return as Durham's second overseas player after agreeing a new deal.

Lewis, 31, had success in a short spell at the Riverside this year, taking 26 wickets in just five Championship matches.

"We are delighted to welcome him back to the club and we're looking forward to having him available to us for the full season," said head coach Martyn Moxon.

And batsman Ben Harmison, brother of England star Steve, has signed a professional contract after impressing with the 2nd XI.
