Is anyone interested? Voss could be sacked (or not re signed) next year, I’d suggest there will be a lot of tentative prospects out there giving us a wide berth.

Is it all really doom and gloom at the blues though. Yeah it's been a year of events. Ultimately the health of the list has been the major issue, whether it be mental or physical. But we are losing two players (so far) 1 to a ridiculous offer that I don't believe he is worth. And the 2nd a player that has averaged 12.8 games in 10 years with every opportunity.13 in 46 yet seems to think he is worth more than our more than reasonable offer, so whatever...

So we build up a few, only to have the good ones poached walked out because of potential other issues within the club (politics/agendas). That's not positive. Letting good players walk out damages the fabric, I think Richmond/Hawks were impacted as a club off field and culturally a bit by letting some senior players move on just to get some 'picks'. Geelong and Pies with their old fogies still show what can be done if better equipped in the club and stability, one ripple in the pond such as McRae's comments in recent times can shake things significantly.

What impact did GW comment on our list not being good enough have to the group?

Clark/Russell are both uncontracted so maybe that's why it's a little different for them compared to someone like Hamill who had a contract for 2026. They actually need to have their contract renewed to keep their job
