If your gonads were on the line, would you bet Dimma would stick him in the 22 tomorrow?

Hmm. Off season. No injury.
Don't think he's gone anywhere from where he was when we discussed this in October.
And November...........................

It's likely that Grimes will miss games so when he does we need Astbury to replace him.
Take the #12 off him and give it to McBean

Like Hawthorn, where he picked up Hale when he went forward. Needed him in the side against Sydney, Rance was too small on the likes of Pike. I think with the flexibity both Rance and grimes provide I think he should play most weeks. He needs to position himself to take on the ruckman and forward/ruckman types. Chapman doesn't like the lock down roles and Rance is not quite big enough. He plays Chappys role, without the experience to co-ordinate the backline. But if hes meant to be a swingman, then he cant play the coordinator role. Doesnt quite have the athletic ability of Rance, and cant play on smaller players like Grimes. Hes sort of in no mans land, tho will fit in well when we are playing teams with a tall forward structure.
