THE disgruntled parent of an Australian snowboarder has ignited an explosive row only hours before Alex “Chumpy” Pullin races for gold, accusing Olympic officials of spending more than $1 million on the dual world-champion.

Bruce Brockoff, the father of Belle Brockhoff, fired off an angry email last night which threatens to divide the Olympic team on one of its most important days in Sochi.

Mr Brockhoff said he was speaking out to “to explain why I sold my tickets to Sochi and cancelled my accommodation on a Norwegian cruise liner in protest over the lack of support and recognition for my daughter Belle”.

I like Torah i think she's awesome , the media coverage has been a bit OTT. Pretty much the same as Channel 7 pumping up Australian tennis players that will 99% most likely get bungled out during the Australian Open.

Really her main event was the half pipe, the other two she was a chance but not a serious gold medal contender.

David Morris goes straight through to the top 12 in the Men's Aerials with a beautiful jump.

Not a medal favourite but considered an outside chance. Has a break now whilst the rest of the 12 is determined which will help him, no doubt.

Would be great to see him on the podium. Up against it but he's just shown he can do it.
