A pretty rewarding evening in front of the telly. When Warner was on 80 I thought he'll settle down and wait until Saturday. Then bang, bang, BANG. What showmanship! A six to bring up the century and even if it had fallen inside the rope I don't think there was an Indian fielder there at the boundary.

It has been a depressing procession for fans of Indian cricket, but I have loved every minute of it.

India need some new blood in their side. Laxman isn't up to it anymore and needs to retire.

I can't really recall the Indians rebuilding too much in the past, they've always been either fairly competitive, and at times dominant. It will be interesting to see how they go when they get some new blood in there.

The Aussies have fought back brilliantly since the loss to NZ. Our fast bowling is set for the new decade, however we need some young batsmen coming through the Shield ranks. Compared to the 90's when we'd have blokes like Lehmann, Bevan, Moody, Love, Law, there's very little batting depth at all at the moment.
