Yeah it's a real blow. I was hoping for a big year out of Aussie, as I have real faith in his ability to become a quality CHB, but we have all seen how limited preseasons can pretty much destroy a player's year before they begin.

It looks like we might get bower back and mclean could still play

Aussie will play in the 2's this week if he gets through training...

He has been back in full work for a while but he had a leg niggle a month ago which slowed him up...

Expect him to go well as he has a great work ethic...

He'd still have to be some way off returning to the Carlton side. Had a very limited pre-season, and will really need to build his fitness up throughout the season, and just get the feel of playing footy again. Can't see him playing for Carlton much before the mid-season break.

Mclean definately wont play, Bower will probably miss again although is 50/50 at this stage.

Give Bower another week if needed. No point rushing him back, and perhaps re-injure himself.

Not much at all after xmas, hopefully has used the break to get real strong in the upper body.

I didn't realise he was injured and was cursing ratts and the mc for only playing 2 tall defenders against the lions and the bombers. Andrew Walker CHB??
