* Guccione won't get past the second round as he has Gonzalez in the second round.
* Gonzalez and Ljubicic as a classic third round match.

Section B
* Djokovic has Ben Becker in the first round.
* Sections five through to eight in Djokovic's quarter of the draw are Querry, Rocchus, Malisse and Tursunov. Means Djokovic will have one of these players in the third round.
* Hewitt's run will most likely stop in the third round when he faces either Baghdatis or Safin.
* Luczac, if he gets to the second round, will be stopped there and then by Nalbandian.
# David Ferrer and Juan Carlos Ferrero as a fourth round match most likely.

Section C
* Andy Murray and Richard Gasquet shapes as a possible fourth rounder.
* Davydenko has quite an easier draw than most of the other top seeds - I'll tip the quarter final in this section to be between him and Murray.

Section D
* Andy Roddick with a piss easy draw too. Should have no worries of making it through to the quarters at least.
* Brydan Klein probably to be knocked out by Mathieu in second round.
* Mathieu vs Moya in the third round, winner to take on Nadal in the fourth round.
* Nadal vs Roddick QF is very, very likely.

Federer v Berdych shaping up as a 4th round match. Tomas has beaten Roger before so I'm really hoping that will eventuate.

Hewitt v Djokovic potential 4th round match but I'm very disappointed it can't be a Federer/Djokovic final.

On the women's side, Sharapova v Davenport 2nd round! Ivanovic has a good draw and will face Venus Williams in the QF. It might not mean much around here but Jankovic/Paszek first round match should be brilliant.

Fair to say this might be potentially Federer's toughest Aus open - limit preperation, plus he's gotta get past Djokovic or his bogey man Nalbandian to make the final. He'll probably breeze through tho!

Davenport and Sharapova should be interesting. A year ago this would be a semi final match. I think Lindsay will beat maria in three sets. Since having her baby boy in July last year she returned to the tour in October and she has a win-loss rtecord of 18-1. Linday has won titles in Bali and Quebic City and was a semi-finalist in bejieng and last weeek she won in Auckland. She has already had impressive wins over Jankovic and Hantuchova. Lindsay's Ranking in the space of only 3 months has risin to 52 in the world.
