Acasuso and Mahut in a thriller. 2 sets all and 5-5.

Mahut won 7-5 in the 5th.

Molik now on court, Lindahl has taken the 3rd set against Gasquet to survive into a 4th having being outplayed in the 1st 2 sets.

Hurry up and win Alicia so I can see a real tennis player.

Moya out in 4. I was lookin fwd to seein him play Nadal in the 4th round.

I'd just like to make my thoughts known about Tsonga.
I see this guy as being the Baghdatis/Gonzalez of this years open.

Having knocked out Murray he now plays Sam Warburg, whoever he is.

After he wins that match he will take on either Garcia-Lopez or Falla, both unseeded and very unknown.

Then after he wins those matches the worst he can do for a 4th round match-up is Gasquet.

Following that the worst he can face is Davydenko in the QF's, and he'll probably bet against himself if he gets that far anyway.

So despite it being a fair way away, I really think he's a danger man!

Unless today was a fluke and he'll just turn to crap.

But the draw is really open for him!

All the joke players are on the bottom of the draw, so obviously there's going to some 'surprise' player in the final this year.

No their wont, Roddick or Nadal will knock them out before they get that far.

Jeez.....what a terrible "effort" by Gooch today.

Hardly surprising. We won't hear from him again until Adelaide or Sydney next year when he's once again hailed a future star of Australian tennis.

Baghdatis through in 4. Hewitt wins the first set without dropping a game!

Very true. Although I must admit I'm one to get exited every January about "The Gooch"!!! It lets me hold off having to support "The Brat" until the second round. But "C'Mon" it is for me now.:D:D:D

Lol, I been out most of the day but I just noticed Ljubicic went out. He really is quite crappy despite his ranking.

Hewitt wins the First and Second Sets
6-0, 6-3

EDIT: Hewitt wins in straight sets and gets himself into the second round with ease, The game lasted about 75 minutes.
6-0, 6-3, 6-0
