Help Automated Alerts I Don't Want

How do I disable these automated alerts? I have no interest in them and am sick of the clutter it creates when going through my alerts. Just came back from the off season and 4 of the 6 alerts I had were this automated junk.
It also happens at the start of every AFL and NRL round. How do I disable them?

Chief can you please get rid of the tipping comp alerts and leave it like last year, if some ppl forget to put them in then that's their bad luck. The alerts are getting annoying and nearly at spam levels now. I don't even post at the NRL Board yet i get their tipping comp alerts.

I'm still getting alerts I have no interest in. In fact, I'm getting more of these than actual alerts for the threads I'm watching or have participated in.

You will always get some of these alerts from Admin. Just click Mark Read. Gone.

Otherwise check your preferences to opt out of various alerts and the like.

It's a big list though, can it be simplified more to just one option box for yes or no on all alerts or is it a bit too complicated because of your script to allow that?

No not really. There's no universal option for users. Preferences are there for people to set up their account the way they like. Different addons have their own alerts settings.

I'm now getting bombarded with Swans stuff and they're even worse than the other alerts

Look at each thread. Unwatch if you're watching. Look at the board and do the same. Look at the poster and do the same.

If no luck, watch and unwatch each in turn.

A fix is on the way.

Hi Biggie . Do u have any idea why I should get notifications whenever Sydney posters start a new thread . It clogs my notifications to the point I am considering turning off notifications altogether . I have no interest in Sydney at all . It's not just one Sydney Posters new threads but several I keep getting notified about . Is it a hack or a gliche or did my pocket accidentally click on a setting ?

The Swans issues still aren't fixed. Got 2 alerts from the North v Sydney game in threads I had no clue existed until they showed up in my feed.

I’m getting stuff for threads I’ve never posted in or even made. Like notifications for every team except mine which is Richmond
It’s very random too.
I’ve been putting up with this for over a year and the source of the problem hasn’t been found or fixed

Have you checked your preferences? Are you automatically following threads you interact with?

I haven’t checked my thread preferences yet but I will shortly.
As for the interactions, I’m wondering if me reacting to posts is causing the site to act as if I replied to them.
What’s really confusing is the alerts coming from threads that I’ve never visited. I have no clue what the source of those alerts is or where it’s coming from.
Edit: I just took a look at my feed and noticed that there’s still an issue with threads in the Swans sub section
