Really disappointing way to finish. Third quarter we lost our way, and lacked the senior bodies to get us back on track. Missed experienced heads in the back half like McKenzie and May to organize and clog the space for someone like Kennedy.

Jack Martin the obvious highlight.

Day tried his guts out all day, but just not tall enough to compete for the whole day. Midfield let him down a bit in that third quarter too.

Bring on the off-season!

Thought Tom Lynch also really tried hard where-ever he played. Probably should have been re-deployed down back halfway through that third term.

Lot to be proud of this season. Showed a lot of inconsistency, and there's still a few players getting a lot of time that don't deserve it, but the core of this team looks really promising. Hopefully injuries won't be so bad next year. Got a really good chance to make the 8.

Absolutely smashed in the middle. 1st half was a good arm wrestle, but 2nd half we got beat badly.

Swallow is a warrior and potential future captain with Lynch. They are our 2 standout leaders in my opinion

Martin continued to improve and is getting better each game, real excitement whenever he has the ball because he goes both ways left and right, as well as defensively and offensively.

Im not too fussed...Was always going to be a tough day with that team out there, Day will sleep well tonight. The bottom 6 or so players is where we get torched, they just don't touch the ball. If Jack Martin wasn't out there today it wouldn't have been half as fun to watch, he has it all. Didn't like Harleys game at all today, liked Swallow Risch, Harbrow, Jack and Lynch. Bring on next season.

Honestly, if only get 12, it'll be 4 less than we should have won this year.

To be fair, the schedule was pretty easy on the front end. But yeah, definitely need to see more consistency next year. Gotta be able to keep your fitness up through a 22 game season.

Cracking day for footy, forgot the sunscreen, glowing like a beetroot. Loved the 1st half from both teams, 18 goals kicked, fast free flowing footy. Great to watch.

2nd half was a train wreck for us. Smashed through the middle, which just added extra pressure on our backline and it crumbled terribly. Could hear Warnock chirping orders around trying to rally the boys, but not enough size or skill down there to hold a multi-prong attack like the Weagles. Needs fixing if we want to win finals next season.

Tommy Lynch is a gun. Ended up 12th in the Coleman and ahead of guys like Petrie, Cloke, Pavlich and Westhoff. The kid is still only 21.

Martin played a ripper, kid has the goods.

Cameron is not a fwd, and maybe not a backman, hmmmm.

Tape has no offensive game. No confidence or inclination to leave his man and create when we are on the attack. Defensively great, offensively he hurts us.

Stanley is a great tagger, kept Hurn to bugger all today, but we do miss his ball winning ability when he has this role.

Bring on 2015.

I think so. You only have to see his first half season form. He can play.

Yeah think he has definitely shown more when playing forward than any of Smith, Gorringe and Nicholls

What was the go with 'celebrating K' today? I left before the final siren because I was sunburnt and pissed off at our crap 2nd half performance, so I missed any post-game Karmichael events (if it happened).

Was there anything for him, or was it only the lame half time interview?

Apart from that, the day was good. Small crowd, but still loud. Pretty good first half, but we fell apart after half time. There seemed to be a few fights and dirty moves from both sides throughout the game which I look forward to seeing on the replay tomorrow. Personally I'm pretty upset at the attendance today - 11k for the final game of the season is poor. Bring on 2015.

Great year guys... We showed what we can do, although we were inconsistent like a young team should be.

you are kidding . Day has not produced any decent form for the whole season! And his development after 3 or 4 seasons is nowhere near the development of the Lynchs, Dixons, Thompsons, May , Smiths etc.....
Don't take me wrong, as I as a supporter want Day to develop and become a good player for us, ... but shit, hes nowhere near being that.!!
He needs to go back to the reserves side and prove himself there, before being selected to play at the elite level.
