Avoiding P2P Blocking by ISP

Some Americans ISPs throttle P2P traffic.

If you use uTorrent, you can set it to encrypt the data so your ISP cant block it, hypothetically. I never needed to try it.

Yeah utorrent has encryption, I haven't needed it, but I can't get DC++ with a decent speed with my new ISP.

I know Exetel and Virgin Broadband (wireless) both do it, but they make it quite clear from the outset so I see no problem with it.
