We have a group of players who look to have settled into the game plan and who are playing for each other. The belief factor is massive in a team, and we look to be taking every challenge head on.
Looks like a great position for the club to be in with Moore, Wells, Elliott, Fasolo and Adams all out. The competition for spots is as healthy as l can remember. Despite who you are and your playing ability, looks like this maybe a tough side to break into this year.

· A great win on the road
· Five players with 30+ possessions with a further four players with 20+ possessions
· Sidebottom was magnificent with 43 possessions of which 26 were contested; 12 clearances and shut out Rory Sloane
· Grundy is in Brownlow Medal form. 33 possessions; 23 contested; 40 HO; 6 I50’s; 12 clearances and a brilliant running goal
· Treloar with 36 possessions; 19 contested; 11 tackles; 10 clearances
· Pendles
· The relentless pressure from the forward, mid and backline
· Brilliant transition from the backline to the forward line and converting shots on goal
· Lowering our eyes when kicking into our forward line. Twice in two weeks. Is this the new norm?
· 10 goal kickers
· Position recruiting by the Pies. The recruiting of Murray looks like a bargain and a masterstroke in the making
· Sam Murray and Jack Crisp’s run off the half back line. Crisp’s demolition of Tom Lynch

The Bad:

The Ugly:
Tex Walker. Has a head even a mother couldn’t love
50/50 Umpiring decisions. Adelaide had 5 goals from free kicks (incl. two 50m decisions). Umpires only started evening up with 3 minutes to go and Adelaide had no chance of winning

I'd like to thank the umpires tonight for the respect they showed us. It was great they way they didn't completely fck up my viewing experience or anything. I really enjoyed their make it all about themselves approach to officiating the game.

The one flaw to this otherwise perfect win. They should be accountable, but they are ineptly not. Unfortunately.

Amazing win,i'm still stunned to be honest.Grundy and Sidebottom have really come of age this year.Stephenson looks like he could be anything,and Murray looks like he's worth four second round picks(well almost,anyway!)
