Nosferatu - Hideous, awful, laughable

Not a patch on Coppola’s & that one had Keanu & Winona hamming it up.

Every single character in this one is so over the top, it’s almost parody of the genre.

There is not one scintilla of even a fright in this laborious 125 minutes of slow motion dross.

One star - for the cinematography
Apologies Stig for the late late late reply, but I dont venture over this way too often.

Coppola's version of Bram Stoker's Dracula was sensational (regardless of Keanu and Winona). It also has the most amazing musical score by the late Polish Composer Wojciech Kilar.

I actually heard the soundtrack before I saw the movie and was completely blown away, never heard anything like it. Absolute masterpiece.

The Lost Bus. Incredible movie that makes you feel the tension the actors are under.

The way it was shot/put together was exceptional.

Miracle (2004)

One of the great sport movies out there. Watched it for what feels like the 100th time tonight and it's still fantastic. Kurt Russell is incredible as Herb Brooks. Love how they used actual hockey players and taught them how to act rather than vice versa. Just feels so authentic.

You mean the Bill Skasgard/Lilly-Rose Depp one? You Philistine !!

That was absolutely awesome. Best movie I've seen in years and does justice to the original.

I'm not one for Cheesey, burnt out - alcoholic cop - action movies (or Hollywood formulated movies in general) so this was a good piece of Cinema to me. Both lead roles very, very good.

PS. If you want to bridge the story gap, watch "The Last Voyage of the Demeter (2023)" which fills in what happens at sea.
